TEAM TYPE 1

Dex4 Fast-Acting Glucose is a a proud sponsor of Team Type 1. Team Type 1 was created in 2004 to inspire people living with diabetes to take a proactive approach to managing their health and overcoming the obstacles often associated with the condition. In 2006 and 2007, the squad won the eight-rider team division of Race Across America and finished runner-up in 2008 while consisting soley of athletes who have Type 1 diabetes. 

Team Type 1 also fields a 15-rider professional continental cycling team, of which four racers have Type 1 diabetes. The squad won the team classification at the Tour de Beauce International stage race and finished third at the Tour de Georgia presented by AT&T, one of the most significant races in the United States.
